Thomas Schmidt is the technical director of stethos. His responsibilities are the development and marketing of all products listed on the Americas, Asia Pacific and EMEA price list of Ricoh. As in most countries IBS is introduced as a barcode product only and not as an output management product, his major focus is to change that through the Ricoh developer program.

Nick Wells, B Eng
After obtaining a degree in Electronic Engineering, Nick Wells joined ATI as a Graduate Trainee in 1994. Whilst at ATI, Nick has gained wide experience, encompassing both hardware and software design, and a deep knowledge of computer printing applications. Nick now heads up ATI’s technical development operations.

Aidan O’Neill, CEO DOCOsoft 
Aidan has over 19 years of experience of management, product and software development under multiple platforms and computing environments. He has played a pivotal role in steering DOCOsoft from early growth to expansion. Prior to joining DOCOsoft, Aidan worked as a software developer for the Ricoh Software Research & Development Centre in Tokyo, and for Design Automation Japan. Aidan holds a Honours Batchelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Waterford IT.

Hugo Wøhliche Marqvorsen is 43 years old and has worked in the printing industry since 1987. Hugo holds an Engineering degree in computer science, but has worked for most of his career in project and product management, OEM sales, sales management and as an office manager in US and UK. Hugo is one of the founders of SafeCom and today holds the position of VP Major Accounts Sales.

Yohei Yamamoto, R&D Group Ricoh Japan
ohei Yamamoto is an R&D Engineer at Solution Lab, Software R&D Group, Ricoh Japan. He has worked extensively in the areas of XML and Web services.
His current interests includes architectural styles for the Web and Web application frameworks, especially Ruby on Rails.

Shun Tanaka, Lead Software Engineer, Ricoh Japan
Mr. Shun Tanaka is a lead software engineer in Advanced Functions Development Department in Document Solution Development Center. After the 3 years of Java development in the Enterprise Server environment, he joined the Embedded Software Architecture development team to finalize the first version. He completed the servlet portion of ESA on OSGi technology. In these 2 years after the first release of ESA, he leads the team to develop networking and authentication components, such as Web Service, WebDAV, SAMBA, LDAP, Kerberos & SmartCard.

Junichi Ohta,  General Manager Advanced Function Development Department, DSSD Development Center
From 1996 to 2002, Junichi was on assignment with Ricoh Corporation’s San Jose office in order to lead the development team for network protocols and drivers. This position required heavy interaction with Microsoft® and Apple. As the Director of TWAIN, and a member of the Printer Working Group (PWG) and Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), he developed Rendezvous® technology into Ricoh’s printers.

Toshiroh Maruyama, Division General Manager of the Document Solution and Service Division 
Mr. Toshiroh Maruyama is the Division General Manager of the Document Solution and Service Division (DSSD) and has been an integral part of the Ricoh Solutions Platform Development Division since October 2004. As a General Manager, he has focused his efforts on enlarging Ricoh's solutions business. Having 15 years of experience in successfully leading development teams on products such as laser printers, controllers, printer drivers, Mr. Maruyama is now implementing those same methods into the Ricoh culture. Ultimately, this will lead to stronger and continued success to Ricoh's solutions platforms.

Shigeki Ouchi, Software R&D Group, Ricoh Japan
Mr. Shigeki Ouchi studied at Tokyo University in Japan, and received a Diploma in precision engineering in 1993. Since joining Ricoh Company Ltd in 1993, he has studied color image processing, OCR, network, OS, embedded software and so on. He is now working for security quality in Software R&D Group.

Kazuyuki Fukaya, solution consultant  Ricoh Technology Centre Europe
Kazuyuki Fukaya is a solution consultant in Ricoh having a background in deep software developments. He had a career as a developer and system integrator while working at Digital Equipment Corp. (DEC), Compaq for more than 7 years before joining Ricoh Japan in 2003. He is now responsible to help Ricoh Operation Companies in Europe in the "Solutions" business.

Paul Dodge, Director of Ricoh Alliance Program and Ricoh Developer Program in Ricoh Corporation
Paul Dodge is the Director of the Ricoh Alliance Program and Ricoh Developer Program in Ricoh Corporation. Coming to Ricoh in 2002, Paul was the chief architect in the establishment of the Ricoh Alliance Program. In the 7 years previous to joining Ricoh Paul held sales and alliance management positions with Secure Document Systems Inc, Lexis-Nexis Corp and Impact Technologies Inc. Paul earned a BS degree in Communication and Marketing from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey.

Greg Anderson, Engineering Manager Ricoh corporation
Greg Anderson is an engineering manager at Ricoh corporation. He has been involved in software development since 1990. Greg has also worked in groups building application frameworks (MacApp), system software (Macintosh Finder), international software (Macintosh Japanese Input Method) and network appliances (Ricoh eCabinet and Ricoh embedded Java). Along with all these activities, Greg has also contributed with his own experience to communities like Java World.

Jin Yoon,  Assistant General Manager & Senior solution consultant, Ricoh Europe
Mr. Jin Yoon is an Assistant General Manager and Senior Solution Consultant for Ricoh Europe B.V.
He joined Ricoh Europe in 1987, shortly after completing his computer science education in The Netherlands. 
During his career at Ricoh Europe, Jin Yoon has always been at the forefront of pioneering emerging technologies, ranging from Document Archiving and Color Printing Systems, to Software Solutions. In his current position, Jin Yoon is responsible for ‘evangelizing’ Ricoh’s Embedded Software Architecture through the Ricoh Developer Program.

Petr Suchomel, Senior Staff Engineer Sun Microsystem's Java & Developer Platform Group
Petr Suchomel is a senior staff engineer in Sun Microsystem's Java & Developer Platform Group. He is an engineering tech lead and architect for the NetBeans Mobility Pack and has been focused on architecture and development for mobility tools for over 4 years. Previously, he worked within the NetBeans group on Java support tools in the Java and Repository team. Before he joined Sun in 2001, he was responsible for development on a location services system based on GPS/GSM and other enterprise systems.
