Ricoh will be sponsoring this year’s aKademy conference along with OSDL, Intel, Nokia, Google and many others.
AKademy is the annual meeting of the KDE community. KDE is one of the largest and most active projects in the free software world, it is a graphical desktop environment for UNIX workstations aimed both at home and professional use.
This conference will take place at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland from 23 September 2006 to 30 September 2006.
Jin Yoon, Assistant General Manager of Ricoh Europe will present to an audience of about 200 IT professionals, the possibilities of integrating KDE with Ricoh’s software platform through the Ricoh Developer Program.
