Sun Microsystems has announced its plans to support Ricoh’s Embedded Software Architecture and SDK/J technology with the next release of NetBeans Mobility Pack for CDC. Combining robust project management and Ant build system, the NetBeans Mobility Pack helps developers for Ricoh products to fully leverage the capabilities of the Java platform. Using these tools to build Java ME standards, system integrators and independent software vendors (ISVs) can bring applications to markets simultaneously with new hardware easily and productively. Sun Microsystems demonstrated the NetBeans Mobility Pack for CDS at the 2006 Ricoh Developer’s Conference on Marco Island, Florida.
